Alex Meraz som spelar Paul har teamat ihop sig med Defenders of Wildlife i syfte med att nå ut med budskapet att vargen är utrotningshotad, bland annat i delstaten Washington där hela Twilight-världen utspelar sig. Väldigt bra gjort av honom.

Details Magazine har intervjuat Jack Huston som spelar Royce King, Rosalies fästman i Eclipse:

Details: In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, you play the former fiancé of Edward’s sister, Rosalie. How did you land the part?
Jack Huston: I auditioned for another part—a newborn vampire—and kind of shocked the producers. I acted like a junkie. I hadn’t slept the night before and had drunk lots of coffee. Everyone was like, “Um, a little too edgy.” But they liked me enough to offer me this part instead.

Details: What’s it like to be part of the Twilight phenomenon?
Jack Huston: I have never seen anything like it, actually. I turned up for shooting and, literally, everyone was there—children, teenagers, 20-year-olds, mothers, older ladies. There was an English teacher, who had saved up her time off and flown from England to Vancouver to put herself up in the same hotel as the cast. She sat in the lobby all day, just to see them walk out. That’s a little extreme, but I like her dedication.

Details: Your character isn’t a nice guy. Have any rabid fans confronted you yet?
Jack Huston: They haven’t said anything to me yet. I’m safe for now. But imagine if it turns nasty and they camp outside my house with knives. That would be terrible. “Stop attacking me! I’m really a nice guy! I am not a rapist!”

What I learned through my experience of dating young girls was that they loved bad boys. They like guys that don’t really care or have some kind of drama going on. Because I was an artist, I’d paint drawings of the girls. I’d do romantic things that I do not do now because of my lack of luck then.

Charlie Bewley:

I’m constantly evolving as a person in everything — career, friends, geography, lifestyle, and relationships. I just keep going and going until I’m happy with everything.

Kiowa Gordon:

I’m not into the whole inking-up-my-body thing, but if my girlfriend asked me to do it, I would. Her name is Kaiulani, so that would be a cool name on my back.

Michael Welch:

Part of how I was able to connect so easily to [my character] Mike Newton is that I had a very similar experience in high school. In our case, she liked me first and I liked her later, and that crossover time never worked out.
